Protogon Research was founded in 2023 by Rafael Cosman, a serial entrepreneur backed by Andreessen Horowitz, Founders Fund and other top VCs. We are a highly technical six‑person team with backgrounds from Stanford, UC San Diego, Caltech, Google, and Palantir, based today in San Diego, CA.
